About Us
We are a collective of Honduran journalists, researchers, and communicators committed to memory, truth, and the defense of the environment. We were founded with the purpose of rigorously rescuing, documenting, and representing the figure of Berta Cáceres, a woman who marked a turning point in the environmental struggle and the defense of the rights of the peoples of Honduras.
Our project arose from the need to create a reliable, transparent, and accessible space where people can find verified information about her legacy, the context of her struggle, and the many facets of the case surrounding her life and murder. We believe that truth is built on serious research, data analysis, and the cross-checking of sources.
Through reports, investigations, documentary analysis, and the compilation of public information, we provide citizens with an informative portal with checked and verified content that allows them to understand the facts from a critical and informed perspective.
We are also committed to combating misinformation. That is why, within our space, we address and refute fake news, manipulated versions, and unsubstantiated content circulating about the case and about environmental struggles in Honduras.
We believe that memory is a form of justice and that journalism has a responsibility to contribute to it. This media outlet is a place for those who seek to understand, question, and defend the truth, with respect, ethics, and social responsibility.
